Famous Turkish kebabs are one of the most popular street foods in the world. There are hundreds of different shapes, tastes, and combinations. This one is my favorite easy snack-to go. Small kebabs are based on the combination of two different types of meat and then combined with onions and spices.
These kebabs are traditionally prepared on the grill which is previously greased with tallow. However, you can easily get the same taste by using you classic grilling methods, or even a high-quality, non-stick grill pan.
Optionally, add some different spices like garlic powder or dried basil. You really can’t go wrong with this one. Serve with some onions or grilled peppers, and enjoy!
Let’s Ketofy It!
Knead all of the ingredients with your hands. Mix them well. Place the kneaded mixture on a plastic foil and wrap tightly to avoid spilling the contents. Take the kebab in the fridge and chill it for 30 minutes to set.
Prepare a large non-stick grill pan for cooking the meat. While preheating the pan on medium-high heat, form the meat into logs about 2-inch in length.
Let them grill on the pan for 7-8 minutes, turning occasionally, until they turn nice and golden and cooked through. Grill the kebabs evenly on all sides. Best served with any greens of your choice.
