Hot dogs are processed food and should be eaten only once in a while. However, no one can deny how incredibly delicious or convenient they are when making a meal that even kids will eat!

When choosing hot dogs, make sure they are made with 100% meat, no fillers or by-products, no artificial flavors or colors and no sugar-added. It’s best to have it made of grass-fed beef.

Processed foods tend to be highly inflammatory because they contain added sugars, flavors, and chemicals. They also tend to be nutrient-poor. This is why we recommend using clean sources of grass-fed meat, which are less likely to contain these harmful agents.

Bacon wrapped hot dogs are a very simple, extremely delicious keto lunch or dinner that you can do. It takes only 5 minutes to prepare everything.

How to make bacon wrapped cheese stuffed hot dogs in an air fryer

You can use my recipe above but instead of using the oven, you can cook it in the air fryer.

To make Cheese Stuffed Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs in an air fryer, follow these steps:

  1. Prepare the hot dogs by cutting lengthwise slits and stuffing them with sliced cheddar cheese.
  2. Wrap each hot dog with two strips of bacon, securing the ends with toothpicks.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C).
  4. Place the bacon-wrapped hot dogs in the air fryer basket. You might need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  5. Air fry for around 10-15 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the hot dogs are heated through. Check halfway and turn them if needed for even cooking.
  6. Carefully remove the hot dogs from the air fryer, remove the toothpicks, and serve with your favorite low-carb side dish.

Note: Air fryer models may vary, so adjust cooking times as needed. Keep an eye on the hot dogs to ensure the bacon doesn’t overcook.
