Why do we usually refuse desserts? Because they contain sugar and many calories. Why do we avoid high-calorie foods? Because we want to look and feel good!

Our Strawberry Avocado Collagen Shake recipe is both healthy and low-carb. This dessert is tasty and delicious without any added sugars.

It contains healthy strawberries and avocados along with almond milk and collagen protein to keep your hair and skin healthy. Plus, it’s easy to make. All you really need are four ingredients!

sliced strawberries

Fresh strawberries are one of the most popular, refreshing, and healthy treats on the planet. There is a reason why they call fruit nature’s candy!

Berries contain unique antioxidants called anthocyanins that protect against a range of chronic diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes, and cancer. They have been shown to reduce free radical damage, inhibit tumor growth, and decrease inflammation in the body. They also keep you hydrated!

scoop avocado

Avocados are a great source of vitamins and nutrients like folate, magnesium, and potassium. They also provide lutein, beta-carotene, and omega-3 fatty acids. They are a great source of healthy fats to fuel your ketogenic diet while helping you absorb the flavonoids in the strawberries.

Almond milk is naturally rich in several vitamins and minerals, especially vitamin E. One cup of almond milk contains only 39 calories, which is half the amount of calories found in one cup of skim milk.

We also used the Perfect Keto Collagen. It will give you great energy and recovery in one convenient scoop. It’s necessary for rebuilding healthy joints, tendons, hair, skin, nails, and more.

Let’s Ketofy It!

This smoothie recipe makes a great snack in between meals or breakfast on the go. There is no way to mess it up, either. Just place all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until smooth, homogeneous and creamy. Serve in a glass garnished with a slice of strawberry and mint leaf.

If you like a bit extra sweetness, then you can add a keto-friendly sweetener like erythritol. Keep in mind that you may not need it because the strawberries provide all the sweetness you need.

Look for a brand of almond milk that doesn’t contain added sugars or carrageenan. Be sure not to skip out on the collagen protein powder as this is what keeps your skin looking healthy! Always choose the best brands when it comes to collagen.
