Ground Turkey Stuffed Peppers

Today we will explore another delicious way to cook bell peppers. We are making stuffed peppers with ground turkey, egg and cheese. You can use this recipe for poblano pepper or jalapeño instead of bell pepper.

For this recipe, we use ground turkey meat, you can always use other types of ground meat such as beef, chicken or pork.

This is a super easy, tasty, and healthy lunch or dinner. It’s very quick to prepare and doesn’t require a lot of work involved as the oven will do most of the cooking.

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425 F°.
  2. Cut the bell pepper in half and get rid of the seeds. Set aside.

  3. In a hot frying pan, saute ground turkey in olive oil with salt and pepper for 5 minutes until cooked.
  4. Add half of the ground turkey in each bell pepper half then top with tomato puree and then crack an egg on top. Finally, add mozzarella cheese on top. Put them on a baking dish.

  5. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for about 10 minutes or until cheese looks nice and brown. Serve and enjoy!
