Our recipe calls for almond flour. We recommend keeping a bulk bag on hand for all of your keto cooking needs. It’s a great gluten-free flour that tastes good, and is high in healthy fats and fiber.
You can also use coconut flour. Some people like to mix the two. Either will work in this recipe.
When adding flour to this dish, don’t put all of it in the mix. Save a little bit to sprinkle on the cutlets for a crunchy texture.

Mix all ingredients in a mixing bowl until smooth.
Use a tablespoon to scoop the chicken mixture and use your hand to form patties.

Tip: You can add ground cumin and any other favorite spices you might have. You can cook this using an air fryer too, though you might want to brush some cooking oil on the chicken patties before cooking to avoid sticking.

Keto Chicken Fritters
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/4 cup almond flour very fine blanched
- 1 egg beaten
- 2 oz mozzarella cheese shredded
- 1 tbsp fresh dill chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil or coconut oil for frying
- In a bowl, combine ground chicken, beaten egg, almond flour, cheese, dill and seasonings. Mix well until smooth.
- With a tablespoon, scoop the mixture and form patties.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium-high heat and fry the cutlets for 3-4 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
- Transfer to a plate and serve with some leafy greens and aioli or any other sauce of your choice.
