Christmas Gelatin Ring Low Carb Recipe | KetoVale

Keto Christmas Gelatin Ring

This dessert is beautiful and decorative. It will be a great fit for Christmas and holiday season or simply just for weekend parties.

It is very easy to prepare but requires a little patience. Basically, you need to prepare three different gelatin layers: red, green and white.

You can choose the color of your preference. We choose red and green to give the Christmas touch.

First, prepare the red and green jellies, then cut them into cubes. Finally, prepare the cream jelly and put everything in the mold, a couple of hours in the fridge and the results will be amazing.

We use gelatin to make this dessert. Some people might use sugar-free Jell-O. If you were to use Jell-O, you won’t need gelatin, artificial flavor and food coloring.

Instructions
  1. Making Strawberry Jelly: In a bowl, dissolve 3 envelopes of gelatin, strawberry extract, red food coloring, and sweetener with half a cup of hot water. Once it’s completely dissolved, add half a cup of cold water and stir well then transfer to a rectangular mold.
  2. Making Lemon Jelly: In a different bowl, dissolve 3 envelopes of gelatin, lemon extract, green food coloring, and sweetener with half a cup of hot water. Once it’s completely dissolved, add half a cup of cold water and stir well then transfer to a rectangular mold.
  3. Refrigerate these red and green jelly molds for 3 hours.

  4. Once the strawberry and lemon jelly are set, unmold and cut into cubes. These red and green jelly layers should be firm enough to be cut into cubes. If you don’t have that consistency after four hours of refrigeration, you can add one more spoonful of gelatin diluted in 3 tablespoons of water.
    Cut jelly into small cubes
  5. Making Cream Jelly: Dissolve 4 envelopes of gelatin powder in one cup of boiling water. Once the gelatin is completely dissolved, add one cup of heavy cream and stir well.
  6. Put the red and green jelly cubes in a ring-shaped mold then fill with the cream jelly you just made above. Refrigerate for four hours.
