What is life without some party? We should always treat ourselves to some booze every once in a while. But if taking in alcoholic drinks makes you guilty, then today’s recipe will introduce you to a whole new drink that you can enjoy without all the guilt.
The low carb Bloody Mary is basically an alcoholic cocktail with a peculiar taste and aroma. Its ingredients are not too much of a hassle to find and preparing it doesn’t take too long as well.
The base of our drink is organic tomato juice. Most people do not prefer its taste, but tomato juice is actually very healthy. It is a good source of various nutrients, especially lycopene. One cup of tomato juice only contains 41 calories, 2 grams of protein, and plenty of other vitamins that are needed by the body. The juice has a significant amount of vitamin C that keeps the immunity strong and vitamin A that keeps the eyesight healthy.
The alcohol in the drink is vodka, which had been known as keto-friendly. Vodka has no carbohydrates, no fats, and no sugar, making it a good addition to our keto drinks. However, we don’t recommend alcohol on a regular basis, as it’s not good for health and might hinder weight loss.
For better aroma, we will use some garlic and hot sauce. You can also try adding more ingredients like cucumber and lemon for better taste. You will only need five minutes to make this drink. Enjoy this keto-approved drink at your parties!
