The purpose of this page is to help you feel inspired, motivated as well as to see how ketogenic diet changes the lives of so many people around the world, not just about weight loss but many health benefits in overall as well.

“So I figured I share my success so far anonymously. I had hypothyroidism and very bad eating habits for a long time which caused me to gain a tremendous amount of weight, at the highest being 234. I’ve done keto for 3 months so far and went from 234 to 178… and still have a long way to go but half way there. My goal is 140… and I remember thinking how I had 100 pounds to go and feeling overwhelmed.. now I have 38 pounds to go. The only difference is I have a cheat meal once a month, and I’ve learned if you do weight lifting in the same day, you go right back into ketosis the next day. “I’ve been totally keto since September 19th, 2017. Before that, I was taking in about 5,000 to 6,000 calories a day when I went cold turkey. My detox lasted about 7 days. The 3rd day was the worst. Once I made it through the nausea and migraine the rest was ok. Tuesday of this week will make 12 weeks! My weigh in on September 19th was 261.6 pounds as of December 9th weigh in I’m at 189.0 lbs. In total, I’ve lost 72.6 pounds in 12 weeks.

Keto works for me because it’s very strict. You’re not allowed to eat high-carb snack at all, you can’t have any dirty foods. I love interment fasting. I eat my meals at 12pm and 4pm and I fast the other 20 hours each day.

My gym routine gets a little more intense every day now but started out very basic. I’m up to 1 mile on the elliptical, 5 mins of running on the treadmill, 12 minutes on the stair climber, 100 sit-ups a day, 25 squats and free weights. I do that 7 days a week.

I don’t know my goal weight. I have a very large frame but I’m guessing I will be comfortable in the low 160 range. I did this by myself. I did all the research. Good luck to anyone starting your journey the first few months will be intense but when people begin to notice it makes it worth it.” – Lorrel Dunn

“My name is Amy and I started my ketogenic Journey on July 24th, 2017, and have since lost 54 pounds and 64 inches from my body. I have also been taken off of one of my two hypertension medicines, I am no longer pre-diabetic, I no longer have bleeding ulcers which were verified by another endoscopy, and my migraines have ceased completely. I am still actually 49 pounds away from the high end of my goal, but I have no doubt that I will achieve my goal and maintain because I can’t even think of going back to the way I used to eat. Being metabolically resistant and over the age of 45, I have had absolutely no luck with any other way of eating until now.

For about a month prior to starting this way of eating I researched everything I could about the ketogenic lifestyle. I quickly learned to check every single thing I put into my body and record my macros on MyFitnessPal which helps me keep accountable for each day.

My main tips would be to try to drink as much water every day that you can, keep yourself accountable by keeping track of your Macros in MyFitnessPal or any of the other keto app, check everything that goes in your body for carbs. You’d be surprised how many carbs are in Foods you wouldn’t think have them. If you get a craving for chocolate, have a couple squares of a dark chocolate candy bar, or a fat bomb. They definitely squelch my cravings.

Stomach cramps and indigestion would be out to get it lightly.

But it is so easy to just put that Behind you due to the results that I have achieved in the eating plan set out in the keto diet. I am mentally happy, full of beans and cannot wait to see even more results in the coming months.
