Pan Fried Spinach Stuffed Chicken

Chicken is one of the best protein sources when it comes to keto diet. Today we are showing you how to make a very creamy and delicious stuffed chicken breast using common ingredients.

This recipe is great for dinner and lunch as well. We use boneless and skinless medium size breast (around 3 oz or 336 grams).

This dish is very easy to prepare. All you have to do is to prepare the spinach filling first, then stuff it inside the chicken breast and then fry it. We pan fry the chicken meat this time, however you can also bake it in the oven.

Instructions
  1. Place butter in a preheated frying pan then add onion and spinach. Let them cook on medium-high heat until they look soft (around 3 minutes).
  2. Add cream cheese in and let it cook for approximately 2 minutes until it is well combined with spinach and onion. Remove from heat.
  3. Use a small knife to cut the chicken breast to create a pocket to stuff the fillings. Make sure you do not cut all the way through. Season chicken with salt and pepper both inside and outside.
  4. Stuff the spinach mixture along with grated cheese and close the chicken breast using a toothpick.

  5. Add olive oil to a preheated frying pan and place the chicken breast in. Cover the pan with a lid on. Let it cook on medium heat for 7-10 minutes on each side until it turns brown and cooked.
  6. Serve and enjoy.
