Crustless Pizza in a Bowl

There are a few good ways to prepare low carb pizzas such as the fathead pizza recipe we made before. However, if you are looking for a quick and easy pizza in a bowl recipe for lunch, this one is for you.

We use turkey ham for this particular recipe. You can also use other types of ham, pepperonis, salami, sausage or even seafood such as shrimp for this. The process will be the same.

Remember that keto diet is not about depriving yourself of eating; it is about knowing how to cook and eat.

This recipe is super easy! All you have to do is add bell pepper slices in a bowl then add cooked ham, low carb pizza sauce (or tomato paste), then top with cheese and microwave for 2-3 minutes or bake in a preheated 370F oven for 10 minutes.

Instructions
  1. Add the oil to a preheated frying pan. Place the ham (or your choice of meat) and let it cook for about 3 minutes. Remove from heat.
  2. Take a microwave resistant bowl. Place the bell pepper in the bottom and then add the onion, ham, and tomato paste.
  3. Sprinkle the grated mozzarella cheese on top.

  4. Place the bowl in the microwave for 3 minutes. You can also bake this in a preheated 370F oven for 10 minutes. Just need to make sure you are using an oven-safe baking pan.
