Are you craving pizza but want to stick to your keto diet? That is not a problem. You could always order a pizza and eat the toppings only, but that gets messy and doesn’t always guarantee you’ll be eating low-carb.

This keto crustless pizza bowl recipe is meant to help you enjoy the delicious flavors and sensation of eating pizza without worrying about carbs. It is also a very healthy snack that you can prepare at any time due to its simplicity.

There are a few good ways to prepare low carb pizzas, such as the fathead pizza recipe or my favorite low carb Mexican Pizza which I made before. However, if you are looking for a quick and easy keto pizza bowl recipe for lunch, this one’s for you.

I use turkey ham for this low carb pizza bowl recipe. You can also use other types of ham, pepperonis, salami, sausage or even seafood such as shrimp for this. The process will be the same.

Remember that keto diet is not about depriving yourself of eating. It is about knowing how to cook and eat. Always use high-quality meats that come from organic and grass-fed sources, especially when picking out deli meat, such as pepperoni and sausage. Also be sure these meats do not contain any added sugars, artificial flavors, or too much sodium.

This recipe is super easy! All you have to do is add bell pepper slices to a bowl with cooked ham, low carb pizza sauce (or tomato paste), then top with cheese and microwave for 2-3 minutes or bake in a preheated 370°F oven for 10 minutes.

How to Make a Crustless Pizza Bowl

Start by heating oil in a frying pan. Once the temperature is ready, fry the ham for about 3 minutes. If ham is not an option for you, you can use any meat of your choice. Once done, put it aside.

Prepare a microwave-safe bowl and arrange the bell pepper on the base. Add a layer of onion, ham, and tomato paste.

Add bell pepper, ham and tomato paste

Next, top the layer with grated mozzarella cheese.

Sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese

Finally, put the dish in a microwave and let the cheese melt for around 3 minutes. Alternatively, you can bake your crustless pizza for 10 minutes using an oven which was preheated at 370°F. Make sure though that if you opt to do this, use an oven-safe pan.

Once done, take it out from the microwave or oven. Serve and enjoy!
